What We Believe

We believe that the Scriptures both Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, the complete and infallible revelation of His will for the salvation of humankind, the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. The Bible is the only authoritative and infallible guide in faith and practice.

We believe in one God, Creator and Preserver of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. To bring salvation, He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a substitute for us, shedding His blood for the remission of our sins. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven to the right hand of the Majesty on High, and is now our High Priest and Advocate. He will come again to complete His saving work and to consummate the eternal plan of God.

We believe that the work of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict people of sin, and to bring humankind to a knowledge of the saving power of Jesus Christ. The ministry of the Holy Spirit includes the indwelling, guiding, instructing and empowering of the believer for Christian living and service.

We believe that humankind is created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. People can be saved only by the grace of God, accepted through faith, on the basis of the work of Christ, and through the agency of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that at the end of the age the dead shall be raised, and that the believers shall enter into the eternal presence of God and the unbelievers shall be condemned to eternal separation from God.

We believe that all areas of the creative arts find their origin in Biblical roots, and thus we seek to wed these fields of study and bring a renaissance to the culture of our day.
