Our YPA Dance is fresh, exciting and new. Classes for YPA Dance are held in our well appointed Dance Studios. Students are trained by highly qualified teachers with a holistic approach to dance.

Lisa Jamieson - BCA Dance, Choreo

YPA DANCE Coordinator

Lisa is one of our dance graduates, with a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Dance, Choreography.

Her dance and performance training began at 4 years of age and continued until 19 years, where she then completed four years of full time tertiary studies. Her training/studies included all styles of dance technique , and elements of voice and drama. She also trained in choreography, movement interpretation, teaching and production skills.

Her professional work includes:

• Choreographing contemporary dance works which have been shown in numerous performance collections, such as 'Bodies' at Newtown Theatre. Choreographing for full length musicals, such as 'Hot Mikado', shown at the Footbridge Theatre.
• Choreographing for a television commercial starring boxer Laila Ali.
• Founding and Directing 'Impakkt dance programs for youth'
• Teaching children, teens and adults for over 10 years in all styles of dance technique.
• Tertiary teacher/lecturer/administrator in our School of Dance.

Most suitable for students 3-5 years of age.

Most suitable for students 5-7 years of age.

For the BALLET class students will need:

• hair must be groomed into a bun

For the JAZZ/TAP class students will need:
