Dance Movement Therapy Forum

28 April 2007

This Forum will include a workshop and discussion time for graduates, students and anyone interested in DMT.
This is a time for you to explore ideas and discover things that work.

Date: Saturday 28th April 2007
Time: 10am-4pm
Room: B104
Facilitator: Yumi Schaefer
Yumi is a Dance Therapy graduate (2000) and has been lecturing  at Wesley since 2003. She says, “Wesley gave me a purpose and vision for my future career and calling in the field of dance movement therapy.  I have been truly blessed to work as a dance movement therapist since.  I have been working with a wide range of people, including the elderly, people with developmental disabilities, people with multi-cultural backgrounds, and people with mental health issues.  I love pioneering the field out in the community and spreading the joy and benefits of dance movement therapy.  As well, I love seeing my clients empowered and freed through dance and movement."

“Let’s keep our passion for Dance Therapy aflame in the New Year.  With the group connection, the flame becomes BIGGER!!!”
